4When a new SMS arrives it doesn't sync automatically, why?
 There might be another 3rd party application intercepting the SMS on the mobile phone.
5Does SMS Control Center support dual sim?
 No, since dual sim cards are not officially supported by Android to developers we are unable to support this feature. When an SMS is sent it should always send it on the default card.
6Is it possible to send personal messages with macros?
 Yes, you can use the following macros in the message body: $NAME$ $NUMBER$ $FIRSTNAME$ $LASTNAME$. The macro text will be replaced by the actual name and number.
7Which Bluetooth hardware does SMS Control Center support?
 Bluetooth is supported for Android devices. Click here for more details.
8During Sync, which direction does it sync? Up or Down Sync. From mobile to SMS CC and vice-versa? Which device has priority?
 If you remove one or more SMS from PC the same SMS will also be removed on your mobile next time the sync is performed (or immediately if connected). Otherwise the mobile has the priority. You can always perform a full sync by pressing CTRL and click on the sync toolbar button.
9Will this software run on Windows Phone 7 or later?
 No, it will not. SMS Control Center relies on multitasking and access to SMS folders. Therefore it's impossible to support WP7/WP8.
10Where can I find my license key?

11I would like the rule-forward mail to have a different look. Is it possible?
 Yes, you can modify the template anyway you like. You will find it in the install\html-folder. It's named rule.html.
12Why does my rule-forward mail not work?
 It's most likely that the mail is classified as SPAM. You should mark smsrule@smscontrolcenter.com as safe at your mailserver.
13I would like SCC to connect to my mobile without a single touch when I'm arrivning to my desktop. How can I do this?
 First you should put the (SMS Control Center) smscenter.exe application in the startup windows folder. Then you can use the repeat feature on the mobile preferences to connect to the computer automatically.
14Is it possible to send the rule-forward mail to more than one user?
 Yes, it is. Just separate each user with a comma.
15I have the desktop software installed. How do I install the mobile part?
 The easiest way is to install the software on the mobile is to download it from Google Play on this link
16How can I change rule-forward mailserver to my gmail or hotmail?

17Which firewall ports should I open to allow the software to connect to PC?
 TCP 21654 and UDP 21754.
18Not all my contacts are syncronized, why? (Windows Mobile only)
 Only contacts with Mobile Phone Number are syncronized
19I received MMS messages - but they do not appear in SMS Control Center
 MMS is not supported in SMS Control Center, the MMS implementation is vendor specific and this makes it almost impossible to support
20A second web browser window pop ups every time I select an SMS.
 SMS Control Center relies on Internet Explorer. Make sure this is installed and updated. It doesn't have to be the default browser.
21Where can I find my license key?
 You can find it in the About Box (Click on ?)
22I don't get notifications when receiving SMS and the SMS is not updated on the pc (Windows Mobile).
 Most likely there is some other software that intercepts the SMS. You can try to download this file and replace smsreceiver.exe on your device.
23Why is SMS Control Center accessing internet?
 The software does check for new updates and to verify your license.
24Is it possible to send an SMS from the command line or a VBScript?
 Yes, it is. Check this link
25Where can I find Windows Mobile Device Center or ActiveSync?
 You can find it at Microsofts Download Center. Just search for activesync.
26Should I use Windows Mobile Device Center or ActiveSync?
 Windows Mobile Device Center for Windows Vista is the successor for ActiveSync. If you are using Windows Vista you should use Windows Mobile Device Center. ActiveSync is designed for Windows XP or Windows 2000, 2003.
